By placing a client’s pet in the care of Metro Pets for any service, the owner certifies the accuracy of all the information provided to Metro Pets relating to the pet.
Metro Pets, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse any and all services for pets who, in its sole determination, are deemed to be unhealthy, undisciplined, or aggressive, or who otherwise are deemed to pose a danger to its employees or other persons, themselves, or other pets in the care of Metro Pets.
Metro Pets, its agents, officers, employees, subcontractors, pet owners, customers, and potential customers are held harmless from any and all liabilities, financial or otherwise, for any injury, illness, or ailment that the pet may incur while in the care of Metro Pets (including, but not limited to, those which may arise in the course of play, walking, training, or grooming, or caused by the presence of other pets, or for any other reason or circumstance), except to the extent caused by gross negligence, bad faith, or intentional misconduct of the above named parties.
Metro Pets will be held harmless, have no claims made against the service, and Metro Pets and its agents, officers, employees, and subcontractors against any costs, damages, claims, or expenses (including veterinarian fees) shall not be indemnified that may result from an injury or illness to the pet, except to the extent caused by gross negligence, bad faith, or intentional misconduct of the above named parties. If presented with medical bills resulting from an injury or illness to the pet that are deemed to be the owner’s responsibility, he or she is responsible for payment, including initial veterinarian visit costs and additional follow-up costs associated with the particular injury or illness.
Metro Pets is authorized, in its sole discretion, to do whatever is deemed necessary for the safety, health, and well being of the pet while in the service’s care. In the event the pet becomes ill, is injured, or the pet’s health otherwise requires medical attention, Metro Pets is authorized, in its sole discretion, to act on the owner’s behalf to obtain emergency or other medical care (including engaging the services of a veterinarian, purchasing medication, etc.), at the owner’s own expense, to administer medication, and to give requisite attention to the pet.
Metro Pets is authorized to charge credit cards for any late fees or additional fees. Metro Pets requires a 12-hour notice for cancellations. If Metro Pets is not notified the owner will accrue the full charge of the service rendered. If a walker arrives and is unable to gain access due to a doorman or a walker arrives and a dog is not there, the client will be responsible for the full charge of the service.
Metro Pets is entitled to decline services if the credit card company for service charges is declined, pre-billed reservations, and other fees declines a credit card, or if there are any unpaid balances resulting from services provided by Metro Pets.
Metro Pets will use pictures taken of the pet for business-related activities, including, but not limited to, advertising and marketing campaigns, website images, and other uses for promoting the services of Metro Pets unless informed otherwise.
